    Probably comes from the OEM factory in Pakistan as nearly identical knives from Rite Edge and Frost. The wood is real nice --- seems like east Indian Rosewood --- but even if it isn't a little Murphy's Oil is suggested to bring out the glow.

    Some say "Pakistan" on the cheap but stiff stainless blade, others don't.

    I have four of these. I use them for sharpening practice. Great in the garden and the workshop. One is on my desk and I find myself opening boxes with it all the time.
