Victorinox AG is a Swiss brand that was founded by Karl Elsener in 1884. The brand became famous globally for its legendary pocket knife category. Starting off as a manufacturer of surgical tools and knives in Ibach, Switzerland, the brand entered into the league of eminent knife manufacturing brands in 1891. After its contract with the Swiss Army, the brand went on to engineering Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife-multitools in 1897.
