Better-than adequate blade, elegant shape, nice framelock.
By Richard L. on October 19, 2019The slender stance of this knife lends it an old-world elegance. Unsurprisingly, it is a very old design, in more-or-less continuous production since the mid 19th century.
It pretty much marks the entry price point for German-made pocket knives, and does a great job at it. The blade, marked "Solingen" and presumably made with 440, arrived with Read more a fine V-edge just barely sharp. The edge sharpens beautifully. The framelock is just wonderful.
If you have the extra $30, it's a no-brainer buy.
