  • Nice knife, lousy sheath

    I don't understand why they cant make a decent sheath for a nice knife. Its like a great cake with anchovy icing. Handle is smooth, three pins. Guard is brass with a brass pin, and red laminate between the handle and guard: Nice. Blade is formed well, overall has a nice feel. Just can't get over the poor sheath. The snap loop is loose on the sheath, held to the belt loop by a thin cut in the leather. The belt loop is sewn onto the scabbard with only 1/2 inch of overlap. The scabbard is barely OK but the knife fits loosely.
