Colonel Coon Knives, founded in the 1960s by Adrian A. Harris, has a rich history rooted in the passion for knife-making. Harris began his journey as a hobbyist knife maker and later became the only authorized field repairman for Schrade in the USA. In 1978, he established Tennessee Knife Works Inc., and subsequently, Colonel Coon Knives emerged. Known for their exceptional craftsmanship and custom etching on blades, these knives quickly gained popularity. After Harris's retirement, Smokey Mountain Knife Works reintroduced the brand in 2006, maintaining its legacy through factory-manufactured models.
